The ViewCatcher lets you view your subject matter and your artwork so you can make better decisions about composition, value judgment and true colour.

This innovative tool is a 3-1/2″ square plastic device that slides open to provide a viewing window to help frame compositions. The ViewCatcher is constructed of durable ABS plastic to hold up to the elements and provide years of use. It is coloured a #5 gray to help judge value and has a small sight opening in the center that enables artists to see true colour. It can be held at different distances and the adjustable opening can be oriented horizontally or vertically to help find just the right composition.

The square opening is 1-15/16″ at its largest point, and has indicators for standard proportions used for framing purposes, such as 8″ x 10″, 12″ x 14″, etc. Made of durable, #5 mid-gray, ABS plastic, it has a convenient thumb grip for opening the viewing window. A small round opening in the center of the sliding window allows you to determine the value of the colours your are viewing. It is useful for framing and composition for fine art, crafts and photography. It comes with an 8-page instruction booklet.
